Denomination of the project:  Metal processing capacity enlargement in Mezőtúr

Description of the project:
 FF Fémfeldolgozó Zrt. (1101 Budapest, Kőbányai út 49.)  in 2008 win a non-refund allocation from the European Regional Development Fund and from the Hungarian Central Budget Estimates within the confines of the Economic Development Operative Program with GOP-2007-2.1.2/C identification number for the project titled: „Metal processing capacity enlargement in Mezőtúr”. In this project the MAG (Magyar Gazdaságfejlesztési Központ Zrt. (1139 Budapest, Váci út 83.)- Hungarian Economic Development Center) take part as a contributor organization.
 Toward of increasing the metal processing capacity of  FF Fémfeldolgozó Zrt. , meeting the market and customers requirements, near to the existing manufacturer machines , the company purchase new, PC commanded machines within the confines of this project.  With this development our company can produce high quality items used in the catering industry, with great added value. Via this project we managed to build a new production hall and to develop the fields of HR and IT as well.

Ribbon cutting ceremony

On Friday, 12 of September at 10,30 o’clock started the ribbon cutting ceremony of the new production hall in Mezőtúr factory.
Hereby is the quotations of Mr. Mihály Varga journalist from the local newspaper edited on 26 of September:

"Three years ago they decided to stop the production activity and sell the factory in Budapest. One and a half years ago they demolished most parts of the ateliers and the old office building. In the remained buildings they sheltered themselves in the remained places and started to build the 2300 m2-es shop floor with the 1100 m2 training and office center. ... on the area of the old foundry they built a 730 m2 welding atelier... the building project was finished by July, but they had to equip the shop floor, the atelier, furnish the new offices and so on.
Finally they sent the invitations for the ribbon cutting ceremony for 12.09.2008.
Everything what we see this day was organized in the same perfect way as we are used to see from this company, each small detail was perfectly on its place. The welcome of the invited guests was held in the show room, where are exposed the products produced by the company. The Ribbon cutting ceremony itself was hold in the new production hall. The inauguration festivity was started with the local majorette show, where also the majorettes wore the colours of the company: blue, red and white. These colours followed the whole festivity: from the dress of the organizers, through the wear of the employees, and also the decoration.
After the opening speech of Mr. Endre Telek CEO, Mr. Endre Rózsa Member of Parlament, dr. Dénes Draskovits Major, Herr Wolfgang Wirtz from Rational AG , Barczi Csaba, the managing director of Rév és Tsai Nemesacél Kft. and Mr. Lajos Búsi, the vice president of the country council hold their speech and spoke about the good relation between them and the company. The official ribbon cut was made by Mr. András Rév and dr. Dénes Draskovits.

After the welcome drink and a short concert of the Szivárvány zither band, 80 guests was invited to have lunch in the Restaurant of the Nemzeti Szálloda. The good atmosphere was ensured by Ms. Karina Sípos’s music and play. The short concert of Ms. Timea Kovács was appreciated with big applause from the audience.
The Hungarian kettle goulash dinner was cooked by a team from the company employees.

Now they spent 375 million HUF for this construction, they purchased new machines and installations for other 150 million HUF. Further machine purchase and atelier renovations are expected to come in the near future. The big shop floor is well organized, bright, clear. With that the welding atelier on the other side of the establishment has the same face and structure, the whole factory has a well organized look and good perspectives for future…."

Contsructing works in Mezőtúr

In the second part of the year 2007. we start a very important investment process in our Mezőtúr factory. We are building 2 new production halls with around 3200 m2 altogether. 2350 m2 of that is for the manufacturing of the components (new, CNC wire and tube bending machines, and automatic part-cleaning machine as well), 750 m2 for assembling (AWI welding workplaces), and 3 X 370 m2 for a three-storey administrative building (projection room on the ground floor, design, product development, technology and general administration on the 1st and 2nd floors).
